Your Company's Own Products
The Firefox Company Store allows you to add your own products taking full advantage of the built-in Firefox shipping and payment modules. You no longer have to manually deal with the sale of products you already have or products you source elsewhere.Key to any Firefox store is the concept of one shopping cart, one checkout and one payment. If you add your own products, the same applies. Your customers can buy any mix of products (including event registrations) and include your products too and there will only be one shopping cart, one checkout and one payment.
You can add as many categories as you like and as many products in those categories as you like. No restrictions! Product descriptions can contain graphics, images and videos. You can also create as many product options as you need for your products with any number of option values (i.e. colors, sizes, etc.).
You can select the shipping module appropriate to your products from several available and set the shipping price to be recovered for you by the web store. Order reports show you what has been ordered and order status reports allow you to advise your supporters automatically when you ship a product.
Firefox charges a small percentage of the products price when a product sells to cover administration, hosting, order processing and customer service.
Adding Your Own Products
Your Firefox Company Store provides a straightforward 'form filling' way for you to add your own products. You can decide on a category and add model numbers, products names, products summaries and products descriptions and your descriptions can contain multi-media including video, graphics and photographs. Your Company Store will also track stock for you and will automatically switch off products that are out of stock or mark them as 'Sold Out'.
You can specify any number of options (such as sizes, colors, etc.) for your products and any number of values for those options. You can also select for options to be chargeable. Allocating an option to a product is a simple matter of ticking a box.
Purchase Orders
Your Company Store can send you a Purchase Order for fulfilment whenever one of your customers orders one of your own products. A Firefox Company Store is smart enough to know where any products ordered by a supporter actually comes from. Orders are split out according to supplier but your customer sees one shopping cart and has one checkout and one payment.Shipping Options
Your Company Store will recover your shipping costs for you by charging supporters the price you set. You can choose from over half a dozen shipping price options including direct connections to UPS and USPS to download shipping costs on-the-fly, or set an individual shipping price per product. Your Company Store can also apply handling charges or surcharges for shipments outside of the 48 lower states or internationally.Comprehensive Reports
A range of reports keep you up-to-date with orders you have received. You can update when a product has shipped with automatic notification to your supporter by email when an order status has changed. You can also print packing notes to send with your product.
